The fair will run until 16 February 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This year, 38 companies are presenting the export potential of the Ukrainian organic sector at Biofach 2024 within two National Pavilions, a collective stand and three individual expositions. This is the largest number of exhibitors in the history of the country&#8217;s participation in the fair.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The participation of Ukrainian organic exporting companies at the trade fair was organised by the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/business.diia.gov.ua\/en\/eepo\">state institution &#8220;Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office&#8221;<\/a><\/span> (EEPO, Ukraine), the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/business.diia.gov.ua\/en\">state project Diia.Business<\/a><\/span>, under the patronage of the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/minagro.gov.ua\/en\">Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine<\/a><\/span>, in partnership with the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/uaberries.com\/en\/about-association\">Ukrainian Berries Association<\/a><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/organicukraine.org.ua\/en\">Organic Ukraine NGO<\/a><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/organicinitiative.org.ua\/en\/\">Organic Initiative Public Association<\/a><\/span>, and <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/en\/\">OrganicInfo.ua<\/a><\/span>, and with the support of:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Switzerland within the framework of the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/old.qftp.org\/en\/\">Swiss-Ukrainian Program &#8220;Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine&#8221;<\/a><\/span> (QFTP), the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/work-with-us\/advice-for-small-businesses\/ukraine.html\">EBRD\u2019s Small Business<\/a><\/span> Impact Fund and <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ifoam.bio\/our-work\/how\/facilitating-organic\/organic-trade-4-development\">Organic Trade for Development in Eastern Europe<\/a><\/span> (OT4D),<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">USA through the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/wnisef.org\/\">Western NIS Enterprise Fund<\/a><\/span> (WNISEF),<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Germany within the framework of the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"http:\/\/coa-ukraine.com\/en\/\">German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture<\/a> Project<\/span> (COA), funded by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.importpromotiondesk.de\/en\/\">German Import Promotion De<\/a>sk<\/span> (IPD), funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">More information about the exhibitors can be found on <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/organicinfo.ua\/en\/news\/ukraine-at-biofach-2024\/\">OrganiInfo.ua<\/a><\/span> and on the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/imp.export.gov.ua\/802-ukraine_at_biofach_2024\">Diia.Business portal<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Catalog of Ukrainian exporters of the National Pavilion of Ukraine is available <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1oALlj0dnf8I_6mDfHrEZhcNRx-00_b6v\/view\">here<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For the first time in history, this year the state logo for organic products was presented at the National Pavilion of Ukraine at the Biofach exhibition and the products labelled with it. &#8220;We are proud that the state logo for organic products can now be seen on Ukrainian organic products,&#8221; said Markiyan Dmytrasevych, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, &#8220;Thanks to the accreditation of our first certification body, the launch of two state registers maintained by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and about 200 certified operators, the national organic legislation is being actively implemented\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mr Markiyan Dmytrasevych visited the fair as part of the policy delegation of representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, which also included: Mr Oleksandr Gaydu, Chairman, Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ms Maryna Kyslytska, Head of the State Policy Division on Organic Production of the Food Security and Excise Products Directorate of the Department of State Policy on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures, Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Ms Olha Semenchuk, Deputy Director of the Food Safety, Veterinary Medicine and Control Department in the Field of Organic Production \u2014 Head of the Food Safety, Feed and Control Division in the Field of Organic Production, State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">During their visit to Biofach 2024, the policy delegation presented Ukraine at the international level, providing the international community with up-to-date information on the current state of the organic sector in Ukraine. Ukraine is also represented at the Congress. Thus, on 14 February, the conference <strong>\u201cAt the Frontline &#8211; Women of Ukraine are Changing the World\u201d<\/strong> takes place, where women leaders of the Ukrainian organic sector share their vision of the achievements and challenges faced by the Ukrainian organic sector in the context of war.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The conference is organised by the
