\u201cSupport of the organic sector in Ukraine\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The purpose of the Grant Program is to support the organic producers to overcome the current situation and preserve and strengthen the capacity of the organic sector of Ukraine in the mid- and long-term.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><em>Organic market operators, service providers, public organisations and unions working in the field of organic production, circulation and labeling of organic products \u2013 legal entities residents in Ukraine can apply for the grant program. <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Apply for support<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Phase 1.<\/u><\/strong> Urgent support of organic producers affected by the Russian invasion since February 24, 2022 for organic certification.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Producers shall send a request (<\/strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Organic-Grant-Fund_request-form-2022.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>form of the <\/strong><\/a><\/span><strong><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Organic-Grant-Fund_request-form-2022.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">request<\/span><\/a> and <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Organic-Grant-Fund_budget-form-2022.xlsx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">budget<\/a><\/span>) for the urgent support by May 15, 2022, at latest to the e-mail <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"mailto:info@organicinitiative.org.ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">info@organicinitiative.org.ua<\/a><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>For additional questions, please contact Natalia Cholovska, President of Ecoterra, +38 050 430 76 23.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The maximum amount of the grant within the 1st phase <\/strong>of the program will be UAH 70,000 (approx 2.250 CHF)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Phase 2<\/u><\/strong><u>.<\/u> Strengthening the capacity of the organic sector, supporting organic operators and developing the organic market in Ukraine.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is important at this phase to create the preconditions for further development of the organic sector. Support will be given to initiatives that help restore the economic viability of operators and service providers of the organic market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The maximum amount <\/strong><strong>of support under Phase 2<\/strong> will be 5 thousand CHF in hryvnia equivalent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The dates of the 2nd phase of the program will be announced separately and will depend on the availability of funds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" Program<\/a><\/span>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reference:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Phase 1 of the program implemented by Organic Initiative with the support of:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Switzerland within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian Program<span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"> <a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.qftp.org\">\u201cHigher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine\u201d<\/a><\/span> implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">QFTP Program provide <strong>38,000 CHF<\/strong> to support Grant Program.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Switzerland within the framework of the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.organictrade4development.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Organic Trade 4 Development in Eastern Europe (OT4D) Program<\/a><\/span> implemented by\u00a0IFOAM \u2013 Organics International in partnership with HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation and Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">OT4D Program provide <strong>75 thousand CHF<\/strong> to support Grant Program.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sunrisefoods.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sunrise Foods International (Canada)<\/a><\/span> transferred <strong>5 thousand USA Dollars<\/strong> to support Ukrainian Organic
