The Ukrainian domestic market of organic products decreased significantly in 2022 and began to recover in 2023 but is still lower than before the full-scale invasion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Under these circumstances, Ukrainian organic producers need support to continue organic farming and provide healthy organic food to the people of Ukraine and other countries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Under the Grant Program, support will be provided to initiatives that will contribute to increasing sales of organic products, enlarging organic assortment on store shelves, in particular, due to the increase in the storage period of organic products and establishing new supply chains.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p aria-level=\"5\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Areas of support and forms of activity under the Grant Program:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">promoting the sales of organic products and opening up new sales channels for organic products on the domestic market;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">shortening the supply chains from producer to consumer on the domestic market;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">improving the presentation of organic products on the shelves on the domestic market, in particular, due to the increase in the storage period of organic products.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p aria-level=\"4\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ukrainian certified organic operators, which are present on the domestic market or are ready to enter the Ukrainian market, are allowed to participate in the competition for receiving a grant under this Grant Program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Under the Grant Program in Organic Sector it is possible to support the purchase of equipment but it should not exceed 60% of the total grant amount. The full list of non-eligible costs listed in the Guidelines on the Grant Program in Organic Sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>All the official information about the Grant Program, guidelines, application forms and public information\u00a0<span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dossier.org.ua\/en\/projects\/organic-grant-program\">are published on the website<\/a> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">of the International Charitable Organisation \u201cInformation Center \u201cGreen Dossier\u201d<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applications for receiving grants together with the attachments are accepted <strong>until 10 November 2024<\/strong> and are submitted via the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/urbRbptck6ZfhXaF7\">electronic form at the link<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>On 24 October 2024 an information webinar will be held<\/strong>, where more information about the conditions of the Grant Program could be found and the questions asked. <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/48PfvS4VqFrmpwXW9\">Registration for the webinar is open via the link<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The results of the Grant Program contest will be announced <strong>not later than 10 December 2024<\/strong>. The activities proposed in the applications may be implemented over a period of up to 10 months starting from January 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">During this call about 30 applications for a total amount of CHF 150,000 will be supported. The average grant for one project is\u00a0UAH 230,000.00\u00a0at the same time, the Grant committee determines the final amount of the grant that the Grant recipients can in partnership with Organic Initiative Public Association and the<span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">\u00a0<a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/old.qftp.org\/en\/\">Swiss-Ukrainian Program \u201cHigher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine\u201d (QFTP)<\/a><\/span>\u00a0implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland) to support Ukrainian organic producers and promote further development of the organic market, to increase trade in Ukrainian organic products with higher added
